Writing a Thesis/Dissertation

Kate Drowne

This one-hour presentation covered three basic elements of writing a successful thesis: preparation, actual writing tips, and time management. Students in the relatively early stages of their master’s programs benefited the most from this session, which emphasized particular behaviors that can lead to more efficient writing with less stress and struggle. Frequent mistakes that graduate students make while writing their theses were also discussed with suggestions on how best to avoid these potential problems.
